What does “DM me” mean? I tried buying things on social media for the first time today, and when I ask for details, all I get is “DM me” – what does that mean?

Hi!
“DM” means “Direct Message.” I’m assuming you were talking to others through comments, and that’s why they’re asking you to DM them. That just means they want to have a private conversation with you.
If they say “DM me,” they want you to message them first.
“DM” is usually used in Instagram, but if you’re using Facebook, you might also encounter “PM,” which means “Private Message” – generally interchangeable with “DM.”
