Hello!
I am learning English and need help with this phrase – “to each its own.” Is this correct? How would you use this?
Thank you!

I answered a similar question recently. You can refer to that as well.
So, the correct phrase would be, “to each his/her own” and it means that different people have different tastes and preferences, and that’s fine. You use it when you disagree with someone’s preference, but still respect their choice (as one should).
So, when you see someone wearing extremely ripped jeans and you think it’s weird, that’s a “to each his/her own” moment. You can say, “I don’t understand why you would wear something so revealing, but to each her own.”
Hope this helped!
