I can see how someone would misunderstand that Piglet is a girl cause he’s pink, and that’s usually associated with girls (which should change, colors shouldn’t have genders)
He’s actually a boy – a male. He’s always been.
Piglet was based on one of Christopher Robin Milne’s stuffed animals. Christopher Robin Milne is the author’s – A. A. Milne’s, son. The author wrote the story of Winnie-the-Pooh and its characters for his son. Some speculate that Christopher chose the characters’ gender, and the reason why they’re mostly male is that the child Christopher wanted to play with boys like him.
