I know brisket is a cut of meat but is brisket just beef or just pork, or can it be both?

When people say brisket, it’s just beef and not any other meat unless they specify it.
The brisket cut comes from the breast area.
There can be pork brisket, but the meat from the breast area of the pig is usually just grounded up or included in the belly. The popular cuts of pork come from the shoulder, the loin, the leg, and the side or belly of the pig.
