I was watching a historical drama where they used horses to travel, and it got me thinking about horses lol (the poor cool creatures)
Anyway, does anyone here know how long a horse can run?

There’s no one answer to this because how long a horse can run will depend on many factors such as the horse’s and the rider’s health condition, their pacing, the environment they’re running at, etc.
This horse riding blog said that a horse could cover 2 to 2.5 miles in a gallop before it gets tired, but on a trot with rests, a horse can cover 20 to 30 miles in a day.
Gallop is defined as “the fastest pace of a horse or other quadruped, with all the feet off the ground together in each stride.”
And trot is when horses (or other four-legged animals) “proceed at a pace faster than a walk, lifting each diagonal pair of legs alternately.
