I just learned what a “death rattle” is, and it’s intriguing (and terrifying). Has anyone ever survived the death rattle?

I just learned what a “death rattle” is, and it’s intriguing (and terrifying). Has anyone ever survived the death rattle?
Maybe if they regain the ability to clear their throats and airways somehow? If not, apparently, a person would only survive death rattle for 23 hours on average. What a terrifying way to go, just slowly suffocating 🙁
