I just want to know if I should expect my mail to be delivered even at night (it’s important mail, so I’m quite anxious to receive it)

USPS says that PO Box mail delivery usually starts around 8:30 am and that all the mail, parcels, or packages should be delivered before 5 pm. Other services have different delivery times.
So the latest they would deliver is usually 5 pm. But sometimes they would deliver at around 8 pm to 10 pm on holidays when there is increased postal activity or when the postal worker decides to deliver your mail after 5 pm for some reason.
