Why Is The Moon Yellow?

I always see the Moon as gray-ish or blue-ish, and today I noticed that it was yellow. I thought only the Sun can be yellow. I’m aware that the Moon sometimes changes colors (like when it went blood red), but that’s special. Is the Moon I saw special, too?

    Colloids and other particles present in the Earth’s atmosphere affect the color of light – and everything else in the sky. The atmosphere’s particulate matter gets more concentrated the closer the view is to the horizon. So, the moon you saw is near the horizon that’s why it reflected a yellow color – much like a sunset.
