When I’m at home, I’m almost always lying down and my cat just randomly sits on my chest. Sometimes it’s cute, sometimes it’s scary lol Is there a meaning behind this particular behavior, or is it just random? Can it be because she’s feeling uncomfortable (I think she has fleas)

Just want to go into detail about what the other comment said.
Sound and feel of your heart
When cats are young, they’re around their mothers a lot, especially when sleeping, and they’re comforted by the sound of their mother’s heartbeat. When your cat is on your chest, she can feel and hear your heartbeat, and that comforts her.
Your warmth
It’s not a secret that cat loves warm things, and you’re warm.
Security
Who doesn’t love to feel safe? Just like with comfort, she may be coming to you for security as well.
Other reasons may be:
Possessiveness
Cats can be territorials, and you’re hers. You’re a valuable slave to her lol
Attention
She may want something from you or just plain attention, and she knows you can’t ignore her when she’s sitting on your chest.
In conclusion, your cat sitting on your chest is mostly a sign of affection.
She either loves the sound and feel of your heart, your warmth, the security you give, or just you overall.
