I see people use both, and it’s confusing me too. Which is correct, “said my peace” or, “said my piece.” Honestly, they both kinda make sense.
They may be just confusing the phrases “to say your piece” and “to hold your peace” – understandably because “piece” and “peace” are homophones just like “too much” and “to much.”
If what you mean to say is “to voice out a piece of your mind, or an opinion,” then it’s “say you piece.”
You can also say, “say your peace,” and it would make sense if what you’re trying to do is to say “sorry” basically or to make peace with someone.
