I recently adopted a kitten and she’s been with me for 2 weeks, but she won’t use her litter box. She does her business in random corners and it’s a problem. I tried moving the box to the corners she goes, but it didn’t work – what do I do now?

The best thing to do when it’s a problem regarding pets is to consult a veterinarian – but there are things you can try doing first. I had the same problem with my 2nd cat. I adopted my first as an adult, so it knew what to do, but my second is a kitten, so I had to teach it everything.
What worked for me is putting something she’s peed on inside the litter box. It was a piece of linoleum.
What you can do for now is study her behavior and find out why she doesn’t like using the litter box, and then fix that. You can look at this list to find out the common reasons cats won’t use the litter box and go from there. Good luck!
