I recently made friends with a Spanish-speaking kid, and I’ve been surprising him with Spanish once in a while. He sleeps late, so I want to tell him to “go to sleep” when it’s bedtime for him. How to say “go to sleep” in Spanish?

For “go to sleep,” you can say ¡Vete a dormir! which is informal. This is the better option because you’re asking about what to say to a kid.
It changes if you’re talking to older people, your boss, or authorities – basically anyone you respect. For that, you use the formal one which is ¡Váyase a dormir! – just throwing this here in case you need to tell your boss or a police officer to go to sleep lol
