I know this sounds stupid, especially since we’re still in a pandemic, but there’s an event I don’t want to go to, and the people there wouldn’t let me skip unless I’m sick lol How do you fake a fever? Is that possible?

Wear thick clothes when you sleep and keep your face covered too. Breathe hot air on your face before having someone touch you to see if you’re hot. It usually works for me lol But just be honest with them if possible. They might think you have Covid and send you to the hospital for a lie, and that’d definitely suck.
I’ve never actually tried it but, apparently putting halved onion or garlic under your armpit while you sleep will make your body temperature feverish when you wake up – it’ll also make you smelly though lol
Well, if you can do with just showing them a high thermometer reading, then just rubbing the tips of a digital thermometer with your fingers or dipping both digital and mercury thermometers in hot water will do the trick. It’s harder if you have to actually make your body temperature high, and it could even be possibly dangerous so I won’t recommend that.
