I was playing Pokémon FireRed Version when my dad and I started talking about Pokémon. My dad was an og Pokémon fan but is not updated anymore. He was shocked when I said that there’s more than 800+ Pokémon now – and I don’t even know the exact count. So, How many Pokémon are there in 2021?
Got intrigued too because of your question. Apparently, there are 898 Pokémon as of this year – but that’s not including the different forms/ variants of the Pokémon – if you included those, the count could go up to 1000+. Not surprising since the franchise is older than me lol but incredible, no less.
