The highest number known to man is Googolplex, written as or or .
A Googolplex is “equivalent to ten raised to the power of a googol.”
This is a Googol – 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
I don’t think anyone has ever attempted to count a Googol, much less a Googolplex – because it’s impossible to do in one human’s lifetime.
It will take 31.7 thousand years to count a trillion, and a trillion only looks like this – 1,000,000,000,000.
It will take billions of years to count even to a Googol – that’s even longer than the universe has existed, so to count to Googolplex is unimaginable.
