My wife made too many deviled eggs, and now we have leftovers. If we put them in the fridge, how long will deviled eggs be good for?

The USDA says you can eat refrigerated egg dishes within 4 days, devilled egg included, of course. But, for optimal quality, you should aim to eat them within 2 days. Of course, even though they’ve only been in the fridge for 2 days, you should still check for molds or unpleasant odor before you eat them.
Also, you should serve or eat them within 2 hours after you take them out of the fridge, 1 hour if the weather is extremely hot.
