My partner and I adopted a cat and would like to name her “baby” but make it a little fancier, so we want to make it Spanish. How do you say “baby” in Spanish?

“Baby” as in an infant is Bebé, and it’s the unisex term.
You didn’t say the gender, but there are different ways to say “baby,” as in little one depending on gender. Thought that might help.
Baby boy – Niño or Nene (little boy), Hijo (son), Chico or Chiquito (boy/ little one),
Baby girl – Niña or Nena, (little girl), Hija (daughter), Chica Chiquita (girl/ little one)
