I just recently knew that even though Mexico has deserts, it also snows there (in other parts, not on the deserts), and another place that’s almost always depicted as having hot/warm weather is Africa. Any chance it snows there too?

Yes, it snows in Africa! And almost yearly, too. Africa is indeed hot – it is the hottest continent. But it is a massive continent, so various climate zones are to be expected. Although 60% of the continent is deserts and drylands, it does have mountains, and those mountains are where it snows. Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, for example, is the tallest mountain in Africa, and it has an ice cap.
Here are some African countries that receive snow:
Morocco
Algeria
Tunisia
Democratic Republic of Congo
South Africa
Lesotho
Kenya
Tanzania
Uganda
