No. I don’t think everything happens for a reason. Things are caused by something, and things happen with no reason whatsoever – sometimes things just happen randomly and by accident.
When people say “everything happens for a reason” about something, I hear it as “I hope there’s more behind this happening, so it’s not as bad” or “I was able to turn that thing/event around, so I can say this.”
I admire those who find a reason behind the smallest things in life. I feel like they’re really taking in everything and living passionately, but also, I feel like they make things more complicated than they actually are.
When they see the color red, they think of love or passion. When I see red, I just see the color red lmao maybe I’m the weird one.
I think, yes. Everything happens for a reason, and sometimes the reason is that we’re dumb, lol.
What I mean is, there’s always a reason, but the reason isn’t always good.
