My local butcher is selling their scrap lamb bones, and I’d like to buy some for my dog. Can dogs eat lamb bones?

As long as the lamb bones are raw and big enough that your dog is not able to swallow it, then yes.
Yes, you can give your dog lamb bones. Lamb bones are a great choice as a chewable bone (the type they don’t actually ingest)
Here’s what you have to know:
Always feed them raw bones. Cooked bones are more brittle and can splinter, which can get stuck or damage your dog’s esophagus and digestive tract.
You should buy the larger bones – legs or hips will do. Again, lamb bones are meant to be just chewed and not swallowed. Even if you give them a bigger bone, don’t leave your dog unattended with it because they might try to swallow it and choke.
If your dog has stomach or bowel issues, try not to give it any bones at all as the bone marrows are too rich and may trigger these problems.
