Kurapika is primarily a Conjurer, but because of his special Scarlet eyes, he can use other Nen types making him a Specialist. This can be seen in the many uses of his chains. Although, every second he activates his eyes shortens his lifespan by an hour.

Pinky Finger – Judgement Chain
Type: Conjuration, Emission, and Manipulation

This chain enters and wraps the heart of Kurapika’s opponents. He then gives them two conditions, and if they don’t meet or obey these conditions, their hearts will be crushed by the chains immediately. He actually also has this wrapped in his own heart to set his chains’ limitations.

Ring Finger – Dowsing Chain
Type: Conjuration

This chain can be used to locate a person by placing it over a map or to check if someone is lying by placing this in front of them.

Middle Finger – Chain Jail
Type: Conjuration

This can only be used on Spiders. It’s one of his limitations, and he’ll die if he uses this on a person that’s not a Spider member. This finger restricts and stops Spiders from using nen.

Index Finger – Steal Chain
Type: Conjuration

This chain pierces his opponent’s body and steals hatsu abilities. His opponent then cannot use the ability until it’s returned to them.

Thumb Finger – Holy Chain
Type: Conjuration and Enhancement

This chain’s purpose is healing, even serious injuries when his nen changes to Specialization.
