I don’t know if someone out there keeps count, but if you can find an answer I’d appreciate it, it’d be really interesting to know. How many songs are there in the world?
There are not many official data for this, but this website claims that there are 97 million songs in existence and still counting. If we include the traditional folk songs or unreleased original songs from indie musicians, we’re probably at 200 million.
