I’m planning on cooking shrimps for my meal prep this week. Problem is, I’ve never done this and don’t know if cooked shrimps are still good for consumption even after about 5 days – are they?

Well, the first step to ensuring your shrimp will be good for consumption is to make sure your shrimp is cooked properly. I also just found out recently that, generally, cooked shrimps are safe to eat after 3-4 days in the refrigerator (longer when in the freezer, of course)
Refrigerate it 2 hours after cooking or as soon as it is cooled. Keep in mind while you’re meal prepping that if left at room temperature for more than 2 hours, your shrimp will have bad bacterial growth, so it’ll be safer to just discard them. Also, smell them before eating to be sure. Cheers!
Wow, that was really helpful. Thanks, pal!
