How fast is the speed of light in M/S? I want to visualize it, so if you can give me the speed of other things for comparison, I’d appreciate it. Thanks, y’all.

Light travels at a constant speed of 1,079,252,848.8 (1.07 billion) km/h- that’s 299,792,458 m/s. Moon is about 1 light-second away, moonlight gets to us in 1 second. The fastest you can drive on a highway is 75 m/h or about 33 m/s. The world’s fastest train travels 431 km/h – that’s about 120 m/s – if you get the chance, try to ride the Shanghai maglev train, compare it to a car ride them try to imagine how something that fast is nothing to the speed of light.
