My house has ants (which is probably bad), so I see them a lot and I became fascinated by them. They’re so tiny, how much do they weigh?

On average, an ant will weigh around 1 and 5 milligrams. There are around 10,000 ant species, so some can weigh heavier – up to 150 milligrams.
An ant can carry 10-50 times its weight, but its body can withstand up to 5,000 times greater than its own body weight.
Also, if you combined the weight of all the ants on Earth, it will be greater than that of all the people – I’d just throw in this extra bit haha
