How long does it usually take for banana bread to be thoroughly cooked? My mom and dad are away, and I’m bored and hungry, so I want to try cooking. I thought banana bread seemed easy 😀

Well, that depends on the recipe you’ll be following, but usually, if you’re baking at 350°F (175°C) temperature, your banana bread will be ready at 1 hour give or take (50 to 65 minutes)
The best way to know if it’s cooked thoroughly is, of course, to check! Check it before taking it out so you can cook it more if needed. Insert a toothpick, skewer, or even a fork (if you don’t mind the hole it’ll leave) into the center or the thickest part. If it comes out clean or with just little crumbs, it’s cooked enough. If you see raw batter, give it more time – 5 minutes, then check again – if still not cooked, another 5.
Good luck!
