Just had a small tattoo. The tattoo artist did tell me about the aftercare, but I was too ecstatic about the fact that I now have a tattoo that I forgot to focus lol How long after a tattoo can I have a bath?

At least two weeks, or as long as recommended by your tattooist.
Getting your tattoo wet for a short while is fine, and showering is necessary for hygiene, so you can shower as normal – even better if you have a waterproof tattoo film.
Soaking it is a different story and is a big no-no – absolutely no swimming or bath for at least two weeks.
New tattoos are basically open wounds, and exposing wounds to excess moisture increases the risk of infection.
