I just randomly thought of this. Mexico is usually represented in media as a warm place and as a place with many deserts, but it’s pretty near countries that get cold, like Canada and some parts of the US. So, does it also snow in Mexico?

Yes, it snows in Mexico – 12 out of the 32 states in Mexico to be exact. As expected, those states are mostly in the northern parts and areas located at altitudes higher than 10,000 feet (3 km) above sea level. Mexico experiences short winters, with snowfall happening only around December and January.
