Just a random thought, and it would be great if you can indeed put cardboard in the oven – I can just reheat pizza in the box 😀

You can with the condition that your oven doesn’t go up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, but it’s just not the safest. Cardboard is generally made with recycled paper, which makes them flammable. Although they wouldn’t catch fire until it’s at around 400 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s best not to put them in the oven. Better safe than sorry. If your cardboard does ignite, you’ll be in danger because fumes from burning cardboard are toxic, and you’ll have a burnt pizza – not worth the risk.
I would not recommend reheating your cold pizza in your cardboard box, but you can keep a freshly delivered pizza warm in the cardboard box by placing in it your oven at the lowest possible temperature.
