Soy sauce isn’t technically toxic to dogs, but they’re extremely bad for them, so it’s best to keep them away from your dog.
Soy sauce is really salty and has high sodium content. A teaspoon is enough to make your dog feel sick if she doesn’t get enough water. It can give her kidney damage or salt poisoning that can cause neurological issues and even death.
Since your dog has ingested soy sauce, you should look out for these symptoms.
Seizures or Tremors
Walking like intoxicated
Take your dog to the vet if you see any of these, no matter how minor – just to be sure.
